I got a kitten!

He's so damn cute. I named him Dax, cuz I've always thought that's a cute/cool name. I think I mentioned it before, but we had to put our old cat, Tiger, to sleep a few months ago. We didn't see it coming either, as he got sick and went downhill fast. Anyways, after we put poor Tiger down, I planned on adopting another cat. My mom said "no more pets!" A few months went by, and a friend of mine that I'd had a falling out with several months back actually texted me. One thing led to another and she asked me if I knew anyone who wanted a kitten, because a friend of hers was trying to get rid of the ones her cat had just had. I said that I wanted one, so that next weekend my boyfriend and I went with this friend and I picked out a kitten. So, I got a new kitty and I got my friend back! Needless to say, I'm really happy. And although she had initially said no to getting another cat, my mom has fallen in love with Dax too and the first thing she does when she gets home from work is to come in my room and play with him.

He's so playful, and he's such a lover. He follows me around whenever I'm in the house and he sleeps with me every night. It wasn't too bad getting him litter trained either, and he only had one or two accidents. I'll never forget Tiger and a part of me still misses him, but Dax is so cute and I can already tell that for a cat he has a great personality.
